The Ocean Bar and Hostel is located in Ballybunion on the west coast of Ireland on the edge of the Atlantic, a destination stop on the wild Atlantic way. The beautiful seaside town of Ballybunion has for decades welcomed visitors from all over the world, its two golden sandy beaches afford the visitor time to swim, surf and relax, and for those of a sporting nature two championship golf courses are located in the resort as well as two surfing beaches where surf boards and wetsuits can be hired. However there is much more to Ballybunion, its famous castle green which stands as a memorial to the Bunyons, a proud and powerful family from whom today's beautiful coastal town of Ballybunion takes its name. It has breathtaking cliff walks where many seabirds can be seen swopping in and out of our blow holes and cave formations, a site to behold. Bottlenose dolphins are regularly seen along or coastline whether from the cliff walk or from the water for the more adventurous type who doesn?t mind getting up close and personal with our sea friends. Our seaweed baths are associated with Ballybunion for decades. This therapy which our locals and regular visitors have being benefiting from for many a years, has been recognised in more recent times for its major health benefits.

Check-In Information: Photographic identification, such as a driver's licence or passport, is required at check-in. Children under 16 years of age can only be accommodated in private family rooms. Children cannot share a room with other guests. Group Bookings: Please note that for group bookings for 4 people or more, a damage and noise deposit will need to be paid on arrival.
